We got the regular burgers with lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. The bread and butter pickles really give the burger a great taste.
Usually my experience with Wendy’s in Yankton is great, but tonight was awful. I really hope the general manager finds new employees that are willing to work and run a restraunt. And as for the employees, I really hope you find a different job that involves less work, since obviously it was too much for you tonight. And if you don’t, try not to stand in plain sight while paying customers can see you.
I pulled up to Wendy’s at around 5:20 pm tonight and was extremely disappointed in the service I received. My order was taken quickly and I pulled up to the first window. A girl with black hair took my money that I handed her and slammed the window after telling me to pull forward. I then pulled forward and I saw multiple workers standing around by the window talking and laughing with each other, avoiding looking at me. One of the employees didn’t even look like he was working at the time because he was not in uniform. Then a manager, who’s name tag read John, opened the window abruptly and asked “What did you order?” I told him what I ordered and he then shut the window and went back to running around the kitchen. The female who took my money at the first window then came back and told me to pull forward because no one had started to make my food yet, even though there were clearly workers who were standing around doing nothing. I pulled forward and waited almost 20 minutes before John came out and asked if I was still waiting on food - the restaurant was only mildly busy and multiple orders had gone come and gone before I was spoken to. I said yes and repeated again what I had ordered. He then said “they never brought that out to you?” He went back inside to grab my food which only took about three minutes and even gave me extra for waiting.
Good food but a heads up when kid meals say 1.99 but its really $4.00 you guys should change on the board
Their four-for-four meal is by far the best fast food deal in Yankton they're serving times for drive-thru or not the best but the food's always piping-hot and just the way you order it
P.S. I tried writing this on a review on the Wendy’s website instead, but I was never given a receipt for my meal.
Always my top choice on American burgers...
